Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how AgentMetrics issues refunds for paid subscriptions. We want you to be satisfied with the Service. If you have concerns, please contact us before requesting a refund. We resolve most issues quickly.

1. Free Trial

Growth and Pro plans begin with a 14-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged anything. No refund request is necessary for trial cancellations.

2. Monthly Subscriptions

AgentMetrics subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Because we provide immediate access to the full plan features upon payment, we do not issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods when you downgrade or cancel mid-cycle.

When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. At that point, your account automatically downgrades to the Free SDK tier. You retain full access to your data for 30 days after cancellation.

3. When We Issue Refunds

We will issue a full refund for the most recent billing period in the following circumstances:

  • Accidental charge after cancelled trial. If you cancelled your trial before its end date but were charged due to a system error, we will refund the charge in full.
  • Duplicate charges. If you were billed more than once for the same period, we will refund the duplicate amount.
  • Service unavailability. If the AgentMetrics managed cloud Service experienced cumulative downtime exceeding 72 hours in a single billing period that was not disclosed in advance, you may request a prorated credit or refund for that period.
  • New subscription within 48 hours. If you subscribed to a paid plan within the last 48 hours and have not used the Service (no events ingested), you may request a full refund.

Refunds under this section are issued at our sole discretion after review. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your card issuer.

4. Annual Plans

Annual plans (available for Enterprise customers) may be eligible for prorated refunds within the first 30 days if the Service does not meet agreed specifications. After 30 days, annual fees are non-refundable except in cases of duplicate charges or extended service unavailability as described above. Annual refund eligibility is governed by your Enterprise agreement.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@agentmetrics.dev with:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The date of the charge
  • The reason for your request

We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5 business days.

6. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. We encourage you to contact us first. Most billing issues are resolved quickly and without the delays that a chargeback dispute process typically involves.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
